BSG performed an extensive soils and foundation investigation of the 75-acre unlined landfill for the proposed support of an engineered landfill (piggy back system) atop the existing materials. The resulting report includes geotechnical analyses of the existing materials, design of the structural landfill cover system for support of the new landfill, and a hydrogeologic characterization of the existing leachate plume, as well as design recommendations for a groundwater control system.
