My wife, son, daughter and I, spent multiple weekend days cleaning up flooded classrooms and offices at St. Rose High School where my wife works as one of the school nurses.

Fred’s family made multiple efforts to help those affected. His son worked in Belmar, with his fellow classmates, unloading trucks with bottled water – distributing it to residents who needed it. The family also assisted a classmate from Oceanport who was flooded out of his home move into a temporary rental house in Spring Lake. Fred and his family are members of the St. Catharine’s Church parishioner group, and they volunteered to prepare and serve meals to affected residents of the southern Monmouth coastal area in a multi-church, ongoing program centered at Manasquan Presbyterian Church.
