Ocean County engaged BSG to develop a Sustainable Energy Master Plan to set the roadmap for the county to proactively manage their current and future energy needs. The plan is a multi-prong approach assessing all types of current energy consumption and corresponding greenhouse gas emissions based on the county’s operations, and makes recommendations for the following:
• Phased in energy conservations measures • Competitive procurement strategies for electric and natural gas • Installation of renewable energy systems based on economical analysis and site feasibility • Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions
