Since 1996, BSG has served as the environmental consultant to the New Jersey Municipal Environmental Risk Management Fund (EJIF), which provides insurance for environmental risk. Currently there are over 200 municipalities that participate in the E-JIF. The E-JIF provides a variety of different insurance coverage, including site-specific coverage for storage tanks, recycling centers, composting facilities, and public works maintenance facilities. In 2001, the New Jersey Utilities Authority Joint Insurance Fund, and their 64 utility authority members, joined the E-JIF.
