Birdsall Services Group (BSG) has been the only engineering company employed by this general care and teaching hospital for over 30 years. Our role at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center includes help in preparing and updating of master facility plans, in addition to our design assignments for all large and most small mechanical and electrical projects. Over this time span, we have designed and improved on all of the facility plant systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and medical gas). We also serve as the Medical Center's civil/site engineers, representing them at all community zoning and planning board hearings.

At this new 40,000-square-foot Ambulatory Care Center, new space was provided for a regional state-of-the-art, 20-station kidney dialysis treatment center.

BSG provided design and construction services for the $13,000,000 freestanding facility including site/civil engineering and MEP and fire protection engineering. BSG coordinated with the county and city to extend new storm, sewer, water, natural gas, and power services. Additionally, we planned the demolition of several buildings, decommissioned several underground fuel oil storage tanks, relocated the hospital's microware shredder process equipment, and improved expanded the facility's well as a larger home for the Osborn Family Health Center Clinic, serving women campus parking. Our work improved the entire west side of the Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center Campus.
