Atlantic Health System (System) engaged BSG to provide sustainable energy consulting services in an effort to ensure that the System and all of its facilities, including its two acute-care facilities, Overlook Hospital and Morristown Memorial Hospital, are taking a leadership role in energy and environmental conservation.

Over the course of the past several years, BSG has provided a variety of engineering and consulting services including the following:

– Procurement of electric and natural gas

– Establishment of a demand response program

– Solar PV feasibility studies for Overlook and Morristown Memorial Hospitals

– Negotiation of a PPA for a solar PV project at Overlook Hospital

– Energy efficiency evaluations of critical HVAC equipment and systems

– Cogeneration feasibility study for existing utility plants at both hospitals
– LEED/GGHC consulting services for the MMH Heart Hospital

– Greenhouse gas evaluation

BSG, working with the Facilities and Operations staff of AHS, has created a sustainable energy plan that meets the AHS’s Board of Trustees commitment to ensure compliance with today’s sustainable standards.
