Atlantic Health System (System) engaged BSG to provide sustainable energy consulting services in an effort to ensure that the System and all of its facilities, including its two acute-care facilities, Overlook Hospital and Morristown Memorial Hospital, are taking a leadership role in energy and environmental conservation.
Over the course of the past several years, BSG has provided a variety of engineering and consulting services including the following:
- Procurement of electric and natural gas
- Establishment of a demand response program
- Solar PV feasibility studies for Overlook and Morristown Memorial Hospitals
- Negotiation of a PPA for a solar PV project at Overlook Hospital
- Energy efficiency evaluations of critical HVAC equipment and systems
- Cogeneration feasibility study for existing utility plants at both hospitals
- LEED/GGHC consulting services for the MMH Heart Hospital
- Greenhouse gas evaluation
BSG, working with the Facilities and Operations staff of AHS, has created a sustainable energy plan that meets the AHS's Board of Trustees commitment to ensure compliance with today's sustainable standards.
