Reactivation of Dormant Above Ground Storage Tanks

MJA provided complete civil, mechanical, electrical and fire protection engineering for the reactivation of 4 large above ground fuel storage tanks. The project required the extension of piping from the existing terminal receipt manifold to a new containament area; installation of an approved impervious liner system, new, above ground piping with booster pumps; new electrical systems, including lighting, alarms, gauging, and communications. Fire protection work included the expansion of the existing foam and fire water sytems for required coverage the reactivated tanks, including the largest tank in the facility.
