Our firm serves as the Authority Consulting Engineer for the Township of Neptune Sewerage Authority (TNSA), where we have been responsible for the performance of various special projects to enhance the operation of the facility. These projects have included the evaluation of their effluent toxicity problem. As part of this project, we recently performed the engineering, design and construction administration required for the upgrade of the trickling filter media, as well as cleaning and upgrade of the aeration pond system, upgrade of the chemical feed system, and the installation of a biological aerated filtration system to treat the effluent toxicity. Additionally, we coordinated all activities required to meet the conditions of the Administrative Consent Order for the facility with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection.
