BSG Announces Agreement to Acquire PMK Group, Inc. - January 3, 2008
Region’s leading engineering firm to expand practice through the acquisition of PMK Group, Inc.
Sea Girt, NJ – Birdsall Services Group (BSG), the region’s premier engineering firm, announces that PMK Group, Inc., an environmental consulting and engineering firm with office locations in Cranford, Farmingdale, and Marlton, New Jersey has joined the BSG family of companies. No financial terms were disclosed.
“We are very impressed with the environmental engineering and energy and sustainable consulting services currently provided by PMK Group,” said Howard Birdsall, Chief Executive Officer of BSG. “This agreement will expand our service capabilities and strengthen Birdsall’s quality and range of services to our clients.”
BSG companies have been serving clients throughout New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania with high quality design and engineering excellence. Their experience, coupled with strong client management skills, has afforded them the opportunity to maintain long-standing relationships with many of their clients. BSG will now be comprised of a staff of 450 with annual revenues exceeding $75 million.
Based in Cranford, New Jersey, PMK Group, Inc. provides consulting engineering, energy and sustainable development services, environmental consulting and remediation, environmental hygiene consulting, and environmental regulatory compliance services.
James Johnston, P.E., R.B.P. will serve as President of PMK Group. PMK Group will continue to operate under its current name and will be a subsidiary of BSG.
