Seeking a Telecommunications Engineer and/or Designer possessing or actively pursuing an RCDD accreditation, to be responsible for the design of low voltage telecommunications systems including but not limited to LAN/WAN, voice, data, A/V and security systems. The candidate must have prior experience in systems design integration and coordinating the physical space requirements, power loads, heat loads, and copper & fiber optic cabling requirements for telecom systems. Additionally the candidate should have experience in designing wireless systems as they relate to voice, data, audio-visual, and security applications in various environments, i.e. municipal, educational, etc. The candidate will also possess experience in Telecommunications structured cable distribution methods to include but limited to horizontal & backbone for both inside and outside plant applications. In addition to a working knowledge of structured cabling, the candidate should have experience with Call Centers, Convergent Technologies, Physical Security, A/V, and LAN/WAN. Candidates must have at least 5-10 years experience within the tri-state. Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written skills and have minimum of 5-10 years experience. Must have in depth working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, project and Outlook. References must be provided with resume submission.
