PMK Group, Inc. a Division of Birdsall Services Group, Inc., the 2nd largest engineering firm in New Jersey, has a position available for a Senior Energy Engineer/Consultant HVAC to work in our rapidly growing Energy Services consulting practice.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the design, construction, operations and maintenance of HVAC systems in commercial and industrial applications. BSME required with a PE and/or CEM highly desirable.
Background in energy auditing and performing energy efficiency studies, and recommendations/experience with HVAC Energy Conservation Measures is desired.
Typical assignments would include facility mechanical systems evaluation, energy auditing, energy master planning, feasibility studies and project management for our wide variety of public, institutional and private client base.
Working knowledge of steam, hot water and hot air heating systems and air conditioning equipment including: thermal energy distribution systems (air handling, hydronic, steam, etc.) boilers, furnaces, unit ventilators, heat pumps, makeup air units, humidification, dehumidification, compressors, condensers, cooling towers, pumps, valves, heat exchangers and related equipment required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must, as is ability to mentor entry-level staff engineers/consultants.
